Hello Kitty Birthday Cake- 159B
My husband decorated the cake. He is amazing!
Frosting Ingredients:
1/2 c. Crisco
1 T. Vanilla
1/8 tsp. Salt
4 c. Powdered sugar
1/4 c. Water
- Place Crisco, vanilla, and salt in a medium bowl. Beat with mixer on high until light and fluffy.
- Switch mixer to low and alternate adding powdered sugar and water until the ingredients are completely blended.
- Beat on high speed until the frosting is smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Makes enough to decorate 18 cupcakes or13x9 cake.
Store unused frosting in a sealed container and refrigerate for up to 3 months.
Results : I really like this frosting it’s easy to make and spreads nicely.
Bottom line: This will be my go to frosting for cake decorating.
