Kladdkaka- Sweden #87

Kladdkaka- Sweden #87

A Swedish sticky chocolate cake. It's rich and gooey and yummy! It should serve 8 but only made it to 4.

Ingredients:

This is the only pic I could get before it was all gone.
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
2 eggs
1-1/3 c. sugar
1 T. vanilla extract
1/2 c. butter, melted

  1. Preheat oven 300F.  Lightly grease an 8" pie plate.
  2. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. Stir the eggs into the sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the flour mixture, and stir just until combined.
  5. Pour vanilla and butter into mixture; stir until well combined.
  6. Pour into prepared pie plate.
  7. Bake on lower rack of oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the center has slightly set.
  8. Allow cake to cool for 1 hour in the pie plate, if you can.

Results: So easy!! The only change I would make would be to add walnuts.

Bottom Line: Wow!! This is definitely a keeper. It was gone within 15 minutes. I didn't even have a chance to share with my official tasters.
